Head Accounts and Finance

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Financial Oversight:
   
• Oversee all financial aspects of the company, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, GST compliance, TDS management, and statutory audits.
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records and transactions.
2. Reporting and Analysis:
   
• Prepare and present monthly Management Information System (MIS) reports to senior management, highlighting key financial metrics such as revenue growth, profitability, and cash flow.
• Analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights and recommendations.
3. Strategic Planning and Budgeting:
   
• Develop and implement financial strategies that support the companys objectives and growth plans.
• Manage the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring alignment with business goals and financial targets.
4. Cost Management:
   
• Develop and implement strategies for cost reduction through process improvements, optimization initiatives, and efficiency gains.
• Identify areas for cost savings and implement measures to enhance financial performance.
5. Regulatory Compliance:
   
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to FEMA regulations, RBI guidelines, and other relevant financial regulations.
• Stay updated with changes in regulations and adjust company practices as necessary.
6. Accounting and Finance Functions:
   
• Oversee the companys accounting functions, including the preparation and review of financial statements, tax filings, and audits.
• Ensure adherence to accounting standards and regulations, and maintain robust internal controls.
7. Team Leadership:
   
• Lead, mentor, and develop the accounts and finance team, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Provide guidance and support to team members, including setting objectives and conducting performance reviews.
8. Financial Improvement Initiatives:
   
• Monitor financial performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Implement financial strategies and processes to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and overall financial health.
9. Stakeholder Communication:
   
• Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and other stakeholders.
• Communicate financial information clearly and effectively, addressing any queries or concerns.
10. Risk Management:
    
• Identify and manage financial risks, including assessing potential impacts and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Ensure that financial risks are monitored and controlled effectively.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• Critical Thinking: Ability to analyze complex financial data and make informed decisions.

• Experience of engineering company IPO is preferred.

• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting and analysis.

• Problem-Solving: Competence in identifying issues and implementing effective solutions.

• Residence on Western Railway line preferred

• Marwadi / Gujarathi and English speaking

• Age: 45 to 55 years
