Business Development Engineer(Transformer Industry)

Role & responsibilities

1) Business Development & Sales:

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in the transformer market.

• Build and maintain relationships with key clients, consultants, and industry stakeholders.

• Prepare and deliver compelling technical presentations and proposals to prospective
customers.

2) Market Research & Strategy:

• Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive
landscape.

• Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve sales targets.

3) Handling inspections, Audits & statutory:

• Handling Customer Inspections.

• Handling BIS/BEE/ISO audits.

• Handling vendor registrations & renewals.

• Handling BIS/BEE registrations & renewals.

4) Tendering & Contract Management:

• Manage tenders, bids, and quotations, ensuring timely submission of accurate proposals.

• Negotiate contracts and terms to close deals effectively.

Key Requirements:

1) Education: Bachelors degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering,

2) Experience: 2-5 years of experience in business development, sales in the transformer.
Experience in government tenders, Transformer inspections, BIS renewals.

3) Technical Skills:

• Strong understanding of transformer design, applications, and industry standards.

• Ability to analyse customer requirements and propose tailored solutions

4) Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Self-motivated and results-driven with a proactive approach

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience in handling large-scale projects or government tenders.

• Knowledge of renewable energy integration with transformers.

• Familiarity with CRM tools and sales analytics.
