Job Description for Project Manager - Design and Build Commercial Fit-outs

Role & Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning & Management:
   
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and milestones for commercial fit-out projects.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, consultants, and vendors to ensure project requirements are met.
2. Execution & Site Management:
   
• Oversee on-site execution, ensuring projects are completed within time, budget, and quality standards.
• Supervise contractors and subcontractors to maintain adherence to project plans and BOQ specifications.
• Monitor construction activities, safety compliance, and resolve on-site issues promptly.
3. Budgeting & Cost Control:
   
• Prepare and manage project budgets, cost estimations, and financial reports.
• Ensure all expenditures align with the approved budget and identify cost-saving opportunities.
4. Documentation & Reporting:
   
• Manage tendering processes, BOQ preparation, and vendor negotiations.
• Maintain accurate records of project documentation, including approvals, permits, and inspection reports.
• Provide regular project updates to stakeholders and prepare progress reports.
5. Quality Assurance:
   
• Ensure high standards of workmanship in line with client requirements and industry standards.
• Conduct quality checks and inspections at various project stages.
6. Client & Team Coordination:
   
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their expectations are met or exceeded.
• Lead project teams, assign tasks, and foster collaboration to achieve project objectives.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Experience: 5-10 years in managing commercial interior fit-out projects.
• Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related fields (B.Tech/B.E., B.Arch, Diploma).
• Key Skills:
• Project Management, BOQ Preparation, Tender Estimation, Site Planning, Civil Project Management.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Familiarity with design and build processes for commercial fit-outs.
• Location: Candidates based in or willing to relocate to Gurugram.
