Senior Tester - SharePoint Online (Azure)

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Tester - SharePoint Online to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in testing SharePoint Online applications, ensuring high-quality performance, functionality, security, and user experience. This role requires expertise in automation and manual testing methodologies, as well as a deep understanding of SharePoint architecture, workflows, and integrations with Microsoft 365 services.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for SharePoint Online applications.
Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing of SharePoint solutions.
Ensure compliance with business requirements and industry best practices.
Identify, document, and track defects using test management tools.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure software quality and resolve issues.
Develop and execute automated testing scripts for SharePoint Online applications.
Validate workflows, site collections, permissions, and integrations with Microsoft 365 services such as Power Automate, Power Apps, and Teams.
Conduct usability and accessibility testing to ensure an optimal end-user experience.
Provide detailed test reports, metrics, and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Stay updated with the latest SharePoint Online updates, features, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelors or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
5+ years of experience in testing SharePoint Online applications.
Strong expertise in manual and automated testing methodologies.
Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Power Automate, or similar.
Proficiency in using test management tools like Azure DevOps, JIRA, or TestRail.
Deep understanding of SharePoint Online architecture, site collections, workflows, and permissions.
Experience in testing SharePoint integrations with Microsoft 365 services (PowerApps, Power Automate, Teams).
Knowledge of REST APIs, JavaScript, and PowerShell scripting for testing purposes.
Familiarity with security and compliance testing for SharePoint environments.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Microsoft Certified: SharePoint or Microsoft 365 certification.
Experience with Performance and Load Testing tools.
Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
