Job Description:

We seek a skilled Automation Testing Engineer with expertise in the Robot Framework to join our dynamic QA team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts to ensure the quality of our software applications.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using the Robot Framework.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand application requirements and create test strategies.
3. Ensure comprehensive test coverage by designing and implementing test cases for functional, regression, and performance testing.
4. Analyze test results, document defects, and work with developers to resolve issues.
5. Optimize and improve existing automation frameworks to enhance efficiency and reliability.
6. Integrate automated test scripts with CI/CD pipelines.
7. Generate detailed test reports and maintain automation metrics.
8. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.

Required Skills:

1. Strong experience in Robot Framework and Selenium libraries.
2. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python.
3. Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
4. Familiarity with RESTful API testing and tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
5. Strong understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
6. Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
8. Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. ISTQB or other relevant certification.
2. Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
3. Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
4. Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker.

Education:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
