CGI - Quality Assurance Engineer - Java/Selenium (5-8 yrs)

Job Description :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing.

- Collaborate with software developers to understand requirements and design effective test plans.

- Create and maintain test environments, including data and tools, to support testing activities.

- Develop and execute manual and automated tests for both backend and frontend components.

- Identify, track, and report software defects, ensuring they are addressed and resolved.

- Ensure continuous integration and continuous testing processes are in place.

- Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure product quality at all stages of development.

- Conduct performance testing, load testing, and stress testing to assess application scalability.

- Maintain clear and concise documentation on testing procedures, issues, and resolutions.

- Provide technical guidance to junior team members and contribute to the development of test strategies and standards.

- Participate in code reviews to ensure the quality of testing code.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and testing tools.
