Job Description
ROLE OBJECTIVE Translating Customer Requirement into Manufacturing Order. Design Office Maintenance. Co-ordinate / Monitor the activities pertaining to International Marketing KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Order Processing Evaluate offers and send to customer. Monitor and guide in Order Processing Customized Motor Design Study and evaluate the alternative designs and finalise the best design. Support to various departments Prepare product literature / catalogue. Train new branch engineers. Attend customer complaints at site. Consultants/Customer visit for feedback on product improvement. Analyse and guide the Production Team in taking corrective actions, if any non conformities to design are found. Design Office Maintenance Ensure correction of design cards and RM/WIP codes. Ensure updation of BOM. Ensure updation in Document Printing Application Software. Ensure availability of latest standards and align the existing products in line with the same. Design Improvement Based on the feedback of product performance from external (Mktg, After Sales Service) and internal (Prod, QA) sources, develop alternative design. New Product Development Develop new product as per the Budget / Market requirement. Adhere to the development process as per the guidelines given in the NPD Software (Team Centre) NPD Sales Analysis Monitor new-new and old-new products sales and give timely feedback to Technology and Development Head Documentation Prepare material specification, technical specifications and other technical documents as and when required. Statutory Approvals Organize products getting tested at approved labs and get Test Certificates. Prepare and submit documents for getting approvals like DGMS, CCE, DGFASLI, etc. Technical support Provide technical support for vendor development, QA, After Sales Support, etc by carrying out Structural / Noise / Vibration / Thermal analysis, etc Competition Analysis Analyze competitor s data
