Job Description


The AGM - Modern Retail Key Accounts will be responsible for managing and growing the business with modern trade accounts, driving sales, ensuring effective account management, and establishing strong partnerships with large retail chains and e-commerce platforms. The role requires strong sales and negotiation skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to develop win-win solutions for both the company and key accounts in the consumer products sector. Key Responsibilities: Account Management: Manage relationships with key modern trade accounts (e.g., large retail chains, supermarkets, e-commerce platforms). Develop strategic plans for account growth, identifying opportunities for revenue expansion. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and promotional agreements to maximize business profitability. Ensure the execution of joint business plans with key accounts, including promotion calendars, new product launches, and category management initiatives. Sales Strategy & Execution: Drive sales growth through modern trade channels, ensuring targets and budgets are met. Develop and implement channel-specific strategies to drive revenue and market share. Collaborate with the marketing team for effective in-store activation, product displays, and promotions. Regularly review sales performance, market trends, and competitive activities to ensure business objectives are met. Trade Marketing & Promotions: Coordinate with trade marketing to plan and execute promotional campaigns within modern retail. Optimize the in-store presence of products through effective merchandising, shelf space management, and branding activities. Monitor ROI on marketing spends in key accounts and recommend adjustments to maximize impact. Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team responsible for modern trade key accounts. Train and develop team members on sales strategies, negotiation skills, and account management. Set performance goals and review team progress through KPIs. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with supply chain and operations teams to ensure product availability, timely delivery, and inventory management at key accounts. Collaborate with the finance team for timely reconciliations, credit limits, and payment collections from accounts. Partner with the marketing team to develop and implement customer-specific marketing and branding initiatives. Market & Competitive Analysis: Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats. Provide insights and feedback to the product development team for continuous product improvement and innovation. Conduct regular store visits and meetings with key account representatives to gather insights.
