Job Overview:
As a Business Analyst - Finance Manager, you will be responsible for analyzing financial data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to support decision-making. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes, enhance reporting, and drive financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Analysis:

• Develop and maintain detailed financial models, forecasts, and budgets for various business units within the FMCG sector.
• Monitor financial performance against targets, analyzing variances and providing actionable insights to senior management.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance reports, including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Provide strategic recommendations on cost management, revenue optimization, and profitability improvements.

Business Partnership:

• Act as a key finance partner to cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, supply chain, and operations) to align financial goals with business objectives.
• Assist in the evaluation of new business opportunities, including mergers, acquisitions, and product innovations.
• Support pricing, product cost analysis, and profitability assessments for new and existing product lines.

Financial Governance & Reporting:

• Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
• Maintain robust financial control processes and assist in audit preparations.
• Prepare and review financial reports to ensure accuracy and consistency in reporting practices.

Data Analysis & Insights:

• Utilize advanced data analytics tools and techniques to derive insights that inform strategic business decisions.
• Conduct sensitivity and scenario analysis to forecast the impact of various market conditions or business decisions on financial performance.
• Support decision-making processes by providing clear and concise financial insights to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.

Leadership Development (Preparation for CFO Role):

• Over time, take on increasing responsibilities related to the development and execution of the companys financial strategy.
• Lead the finance team in managing working capital, investment planning, and financial risk management.
• Prepare for succession into the CFO role by developing strong leadership capabilities, mentoring junior team members, and gaining exposure to high-level strategic decision-making.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A professional finance qualification (e.g., CFA, ACCA, ACA, CPA, or similar) is preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in an FMCG or similar fast-paced industry.
• Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
• Proven track record of providing strategic financial insights and driving business performance.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, Excel).

Skills:

• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial data to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
• High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and process optimization.
• Knowledge of key financial metrics and KPIs relevant to the FMCG industry.
