Job Description

CSBC, along with its partner, Immunisation Technical Support Unit (ITSU), is undertaking a project to conduct a behavioural audit of immunisation program components that affect the demand for vaccinations with the aim of identifying best practices and uncovering gaps. The project will also involve designing behavioural solutions to improve immunisation coverage, completion and timeliness across India.

Overview of the Role

The Project Associate will lead the execution of the project, working closely with government and non-government stakeholders, travelling to field sites to collect information and monitor data collection, conducting literature, training and design reviews, contributing to data analysis, and preparing reports. This role provides an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of research and policy.

Key Responsibilities

The Project Associate will work closely with the project team to:

Conduct literature/training/design reviews, landscaping and scoping analysis while applying behavioural lens and framework to draw out insights.
Lead formative research activities - including planning field activities, assisting in designing interview tools, coding the tools, managing large-scale survey across multiple geographies, and monitoring the date regularly.
Conduct interviews and focus group discussions with target stakeholders, government and non-government organisations representatives.
Analyse qualitative data and collate insights across the activities.
Assist in conducting ideating workshops, and conceptualising, designing and developing behavioural solutions to improve coverage, completion and timeliness of immunisation.
Work closely with different teams and stakeholders to respond to project needs like preparation of project documents and guidelines, support in stakeholder and knowledge management, etc.

Skills and Qualifications Required

Bachelor s or Master s degree in a relevant field (e.g. economics, behavioural and social sciences, statistics, management, public policy, public health).
2-3 years of work experience in an analytical, quantitative or policy role.
Experience in conducting fieldwork or primary research in peri-urban/rural India.
Experience with managing datasets using programming languages such as R, Stata, etc.
Ability to manage and respond to varied tasks quickly and efficiently with high analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong interpersonal and communications skills - able to manage various stakeholders and develop strong project documents and briefs.
An understanding of experimental research methods would be an advantage.
Fluency in English and Hindi (Required).

Location and Days of Work

The role can be based anywhere in India, but the preferred location is Delhi. This role requires travel to the field. This is a full-time role (Monday-Friday) with a contract for a duration of one year, extendable upon mutual agreement. Applicants should be authorised to work in India.

Remuneration is competitive with the sector and will vary depending on the candidates qualifications and work experience.
