Job Description
The candidate must be well versed in the technical and policy aspects of the power sector. She/he should meet the requirements related to project proposals, deliverables, and schedules, and should be able to coordinate and communicate effectively with internal and external teams to meet the project objectives.
Responsibilities
- Investigate the current developments and technologies regarding renewable energy (RE) and energy efficiency (EE) across states, and national and international stages.
- Conduct studies relevant to RE policies/regulations and develop a clear understanding to generate valuable inputs.
- Develop concept notes, project ideas, and proposals around relevant topics, considering their relevance and social impacts.
- Perform research activities and modelling tasks and develop a strong knowledge base of existing technologies, transformations, business models, and the RE sector s behaviour and performance.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders in the sector, including utility companies, regulators, funding agencies, government bodies, and other research institutions.
- Document and publish the research findings through detailed reports, journal articles, conference papers, op-eds, and news
