The candidate will be involved in developing models to project India s future energy and emissions landscape, assess resource constraints and macroeconomic impacts, and conduct financial analyses.
Therefore, a multi-disciplinary background is essential.
Responsibilities
Join the team in building models to better understand the future from the perspective of climate change mitigation and sustainability.
Daily tasks may include a combination of three or more of the following: literature reviews, data collection, modelling logic development, system dynamics modelling, brainstorming sessions, ideation, concept note generation for new projects, and writing.
Contribute to research publications by preparing articles, research papers, op-eds, blogs etc
Ideate and innovate in terms of expanding knowledge and work-base of the climate and sustainability domain.
Participate in conferences and workshops, as required.
Establish communication and coordinate for data/analysis with relevant stakeholders (government, industry, and academia).
Qualifications
Master s degree or its equivalent in climate science/environmental studies/energy/engineering or a related field.
Experience
6-8 years of relevant experience.
Skill Set
Basic understanding of systems thinking and a multidisciplinary mindset.
Sound understanding of climate change science and decarbonisation strategies.
Good communication skills.
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Self-motivated and driven to complete tasks on time.
