Senior Research Scientist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to work on technology assessments. As a Senior Research Scientist, you will be responsible for assessing and evaluating current and emerging technologies in energy, climate, and sustainability domains.

Responsibilities

Research

• Recognising and prioritising crucial energy/climate/ sustainability technology trends.
• Formulating research goals and innovative study paths in the chosen areas.
• Generating ideas and establishing research projects.
• Undertaking high-quality research and authoring research reports, briefs, and presentations.
• Developing strategies to align with organisation s vision/mission.

Engagement

• Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders among the technology-, research-, and policy-oriented communities.
• Representing the organisation at conferences, workshops, and other events.

Qualifications

Masters or higher degree in a relevant field, such as technology, science, engineering or public policy.

Experience

• 15 or more years of experience in technology research and analysis.
• Proven expertise in the developing and implementing projects of interdisciplinary in nature.

Skill Set

• Deep understanding of emerging technologies and their potential impacts.
• Diversified exposure in industry or technologies.
• Proven track record of publishing research reports, articles, or other scholarly work.
• Strong network of contacts in the technology and research communities.
• Strong critical thinking skills.
