Oracle Brm Developer - Telecom

We are seeking an experienced Oracle BRM Developer with a strong background in the Telecom domain. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of Oracle BRM (Billing and Revenue Management), with experience in developing, configuring, and supporting complex telecom billing solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing billing systems that meet business requirements while ensuring integration with existing systems and smooth operation of telecom billing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Development:
• Develop and customize billing solutions using Oracle BRM to meet business requirements for telecom services, including pricing, rating, invoicing, and account management.
• Design and implement solutions that optimize billing operations and improve system performance.
• Configuration Management:
• Configure BRM components, including rating, discounting, billing, invoicing, and accounts management modules.
• Customize and enhance Oracle BRM to cater to specific telecom business needs and ensure scalability.
• Integration:
• Integrate Oracle BRM with other telecom systems, databases, and third-party applications to ensure seamless data flow and process integration.
• Work with integration tools and APIs (e.g., REST, SOAP) to facilitate connectivity between BRM and external systems.
• Performance Tuning:
• Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of the BRM system to ensure high availability, efficiency, and scalability in telecom billing operations.
• Issue Resolution:
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to billing processes within BRM, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely billing cycles.
• Testing:
• Perform unit testing and system integration testing for BRM configurations and enhancements.
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure that new configurations meet business needs.
• Documentation:
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, configuration guides, and support procedures for Oracle BRM implementations.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and other development teams to understand business requirements and ensure timely delivery of projects.
• Provide technical support and assistance to other team members as required.
• Compliance:
• Ensure all solutions comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational security policies.

Key Requirements:

• Education:
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience:
• 7-10 years of experience as an Oracle BRM Developer, specifically in the telecom industry.
• Technical Skills:
• Oracle BRM: Expertise in Oracle BRM architecture, including pricing, discounting, invoicing, accounts management, and revenue management.
• Programming Languages: Proficiency in languages such as C, C++, or Java for customization and development.
• Database: Strong knowledge of databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL) for managing data related to billing and invoicing processes.
• Scripting: Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Perl) for automation tasks.
• Integration: Experience with integration tools and APIs (e.g., REST, SOAP) to connect BRM with external systems.
• Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of telecom processes, billing cycles, and revenue management practices.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex requirements and design efficient solutions.
