Present Requirement:

We seek an experienced contract specialist to join our firm as an Associate. This position demands a professional with a keen eye for detail, robust legal expertise, and the ability to navigate complex contract negotiations and management.

An Important Note For Applicants (Please read before applying):

Most of our clients have their own competent legal counsel and do not engage with us for routine legal assignments. As such, we will not be able to consider applications from professionals from the following backgrounds:

• Those not meeting the required qualifications (see para below: Key Qualifications).
• Individuals from BPO and KPO industries.
• Candidates with a primary background in litigation.
• Professionals with experience mainly in drafting litigation documents.

Key Qualifications:

Educational Background: The applicant must possess a law degree (LL.B. or higher). Additional qualifications (LL.M., CS) will be a strong positive.

Location: The applicant must be Mumbai-based.

Experience: The applicant must have a minimum of three years of contract management experience with a corporate law firm or in an advisory or consulting environment.

Mandatory Skills and Knowledge: The Applicant must:

# Be proficient in drafting, reviewing, marking up, negotiating, and finalising commercial agreements and contracts.

# Have experience in drafting and reviewing Master Service Agreements, Website Terms of Use, Privacy Policies (with working knowledge of GDPR, CCPA, etc.), End-User License Agreements, Distributor Agreements, Contract Manufacturing Agreements, Loan License Agreements, and SAAS contracts.

# Have a deep understanding of key commercial considerations, risk management, compliance, regulatory challenges in emerging sectors (such as fintech and AI), and the nuances of cross-border operations.

Client Interaction: This role involves significant client interaction. The Applicant must be capable of independently coordinating with clients and negotiating with counterparties and their legal counsel.

Remuneration: The position entails compensation ranging from Rs. 5,00,000 to Rs. 8,00,000 per annum, which will be offered based on the profile and experience of the selected candidate.
