Guidewire QE

Job Purpose:

The Guidewire Quality Engineer (QE) - PolicyCenter will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of Guidewire PolicyCenter platform. This position is responsible for planning, developing, and executing comprehensive testing strategies to validate the functionality, performance, and integration of PolicyCenter applications. The QE will work closely with development teams, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure that PolicyCenter customizations, configurations, and integrations align with Allstates business requirements and industry standards.

Special Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

Guidewire certified with multiyear hands-on experience in software automation testing

Should be able to review current state automation suite (GW-Core, upstream and downstream) and come up with strategy to expand the automation coverage. Always have automation roadmap and plan ready for 30-60-90 days.

Develops and executes test plans and scripts designed to detect problems of GW PC integrations and automate them using GT UI/API.

Technical experience with design, development, and enhancements of automation frameworks that are covering different technology and application platforms

Participates in retrospectives to gather feedback and derive actionable items to improve the team and the product

Practices test-driven development in writing software and building products

Establishes continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous deployment pipelines and practices

Ability to demonstrate values out of automation to leadership for continued support and ability to meet timelines and perform effectively under pressure

Experience in the Canadian Personal Line Insurance industry domain
