Summary-

Electrical Design Engineer is a key & active member of Engineering team, with the key
responsibility to execute engineering tasks for customer orders, new solutions and sustaining
engineering activities in the area of “High Power Charging Solutions”. Main focus on electrical design, including layouts, schematics, component selection, specification checking etc. Along with individual contribution, person will take active participation in building electrical engineering process in India. High quality output (first time-right) and on-time delivery of tasks will be the main focus.

Main tasks & key responsibilities

1. Design the LV/MV electrical equipment and develop reliable and cost-effective technical
solutions for our customer.
2. Create the technical documents (single line diagram, wiring diagram etc)
Select proper components (cable dimensioning, power and control board design, field
sensor selection)
3. Create and implement part number and BOM in the Company ERP
4. Support with solution for technical issues in the sub-system.
5. Planning and maintaining delivery schedule, quality checks, design review of task
6. On-time delivery and high quality (first time-right) of engineering deliverables
7. Drive and execute sustaining engineering activities, such as update existing designs,
components and subsystems to improve manufacturability, performance, quality and
cost.
8. Creating 3D models, assembly, and detailed production drawings, BOM’s
9. Participate in design reviews for continuous improvements
10. Participate in customer meetings (global) and project meetings
11. Training of (new) electrical engineers in your team on product, process and tools

Hard skills -

†Experience in designing & engineering of LV/MV electrical system / subsystem / components
for heavy Machinery & industrial equipment, in particular for high power DC-charging
equipment
†Designing experience in Medium Voltage & Low voltage components is must
†Extensive experience in one or more in the areas of – Design for Reliability, Value
Engineering from Design and Development aspect, Life Cycle
†Strong hands-on experience in Zuken E3 and/or E-Plan software, minimum 5 yrs. experience
desired. Hands on experience on SolidWorks electrical & EPDM is as advantage.
†AutoCAD Electrical working experience will be a plus
†Good understanding of Manufacturing Drawings and relevant Production Processes
†Min 3–5-year experience in similar role
†Experience in one of the below working field is a plus
-power converter technologies (Active Front end units), DC-DC Converters
-PCC (Power Control Center) Panel
-LV/MV Drive system

†Fluent in English
†Technically oriented, organized, confident, reliable, goal oriented

Qualifications & Experience required
†Bachelor€™s in electrical engineering/Electronics Engineering degree with minimum 10 years of experience
†Experience in maritime industry or off-highway industry is preferred

Mobility requirements-
Up to 10% international travelling required.
