Legal officer for handling all business legal matters except recovery matters.

Experience: 7 to 15 years

Qualifications:
BA LLB

1. Providing opinion to the Credit Underwriting Team / Management on the mortgage ability of the land / property in question and the nature of mortgage to be created to secure the proposed lending.
2. Experience of drafting of loan agreements, Escrow agreements, mortgage, security creation documents etc.
3. Proficiency in scrutinizing, inspecting and guiding in all commercial legal matters and documents.
4. Drafting, Vetting of the documents as per the Business Needs/Terms and condition.
5. Drafting of criminal complaints, responses to customer complaints and other allied letters/communications.
6. Provide support on Alliance Business related negotiations, Strategy, Term Sheets, Contractual agreements, Policy drafts and due diligence.
7. Ensure compliance of the group to all Regulatory, Internal and Contractual requirements.
8. Identify & mitigate potential Legal, Compliance or Business Risks.
9. Monitor controls & related documentations and provide oversight & governance for Risk Management procedures.
10. Monitor claims against Bank.
11. Monitor completion of legal audit.
12. Provide response/opinion on all legal queries on assets/liability side except recovery matters.
13. Any other tasks assigned by the bank.
