Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Finance Analyst to join our Corporate Treasury team who can grow and develop within the finance career path at Caterpillar. As a member of the Supplier Finance team, the Senior Finance analyst supports Procurement teams with identifying and mitigating risks to Caterpillar s supply chain. The incumbent analyzes and evaluates the financial health of Caterpillar s European supply base and acts as a trusted advisor to Senior Procurement and Finance leadership teams.

The preference for this role is to be based out of Bangalore, Whitefield office

What You Will Do:

  • Analyze supplier financial viability considering supply resiliency, engaging with Suppliers to understand financial statements, challenges, and plans
  • Interpret supplier financial challenges for Senior Procurement and Finance leaders
  • Advise Procurement teams on strategies and action plans to mitigate risk
  • Utilize existing standard processes and instruments to support facilitation and review of Supplier working capital programs
  • Provide presentations and training on process governance and compliance to purchasing organizations
  • Utilize digital tools to provide insights to Senior Procurement and Finance Leaders

Employee may also be responsible for performing other job duties occasionally as assigned.

Flexible work environment with hybrid approach which allows for a split of in-person office (at least 3 days a week) and remote work.

What You Will Have:

Education/Experience: A degree in finance, business administration or accounting and/or proven relevant job-related experience.

Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of analysis and precision

Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment

Communicating Complex Concepts: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive and accurately interpret ideas, information and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors

Top Candidates Will Have:

Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain strong working relationships with internal and external partners

Proven track record of demonstrating a strong risk management and compliance culture (policies and procedures), EAME B2B regulations and tax knowledge highly desired

The ability to prioritize workflow and accomplish tasks across the organization through collaboration and delegation

Fully Qualified CIMA, CMA, ACCA

Understanding of supply chain B2B for European countries including tax, goods movement and banking regulations

Requires knowledge of company policies, practices and systems.

Project management skills and excellent team leadership and communications skills are desirable.

Additional Info:

  • MUST BE WILLING TO RELOCATE TO THIS LOCATION AND Work out of the office 3 times a week.
  • Work timings 2 p.m. to 11p.m. IST
