About the role

Leads team of intermediate to experienced Accounting professionals, setting objectives and guiding others on execution of general accounting processes, such as inter-company cash, cash management, government accounting, financial reporting, project accounting, and / or balance sheet management. Develops and explains accounting procedures, and control processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and report on specific RTR activities on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
Manage and report on specific controls activities including support of internal and external audit activities
Execute RTR projects encompassing process enhancements to streamline activity and deliver best practices for RTR
Ability to communicate and influence key internal and external business partners
Manages accounting and controls for specific Carrier RTR activities
Ensure accurate and timely financial results, monthly closing and compliance activities
Confirms procedures and controls are in alignment with US GAAP reporting requirements and corporate policies
Manages and reports on activities to include critical RTR activities around balance sheet and reconciliation
Manage and lead a team of skilled accountants

Requirements

Bachelor s Degree in accounting, finance or related field
A minimum of 6 years of experience in accounting, including prior management level experience
Good communication skills both written and verbal

Preferred Qualifications

Advanced Degree in an Accounting discipline or MBA
Certified Public Accountant or equivalent preferred or the ability and eligibility to obtain certification
