CarrLane Manufacturing India Pvt Ltd, is seeking a Sales Engineer (for the product line below) to manage West and North India (States - Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi & NCR region, Uttar Pradesh). A successful candidate will be comfortable working in a small company environment and possess the skills and attitude to perform work bridging multiple roles and responsibilities. 70% of this role will be dedicated to visiting customers, building relationship, participating in trade shows, answering technical questions. This position should be inclined to travel 2 weeks a month. This position will be reporting to Sales Manager.
Product Line of Carr Lane: Tooling components which includes 100,000 industrial parts including quick change tooling plates & accessories, hoist rings, toggle clamps, handles, knobs, ball & spring plungers, threaded inserts, clamp straps, drill bushings, alignment pins, fixture bases, & power Workholding devices.
Location: Chennai, will be travelling to the Western & Northern region 2 weeks in a month.
Industry Verticals: Industrial, Aerospace, Automotive
CTC - INR 8 to 9 Laks per annum, including performance bonus.
Responsibilities
• Achieve growth and hit sales targets
• Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands companys customer base and ensure its strong presence
• Own recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives
• Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
• Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts.
• Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
Requirements and skills
• Any Engineering Degree with a 6+ years' experience in Tooling, Jigs & Fixtures and related industry.
• Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets is an added advantage.
• Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars and conferences
• Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
• Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
• Should have previous travel exposure
• Strong Communication Skills
• Language Skills - English & Hindi.
