Scrum Master - Project Methodologies (1-2 yrs)

As a Scrum Master, you will champion Agile practices within our project teams, facilitating smooth workflows and ensuring effective collaboration.

Your role will involve guiding the team through the Scrum framework while drawing from your background in Product Development or Quality Assurance.

Key Responsibilities : .

Facilitate Scrum Events : Lead essential Scrum ceremonies, ensuring they are productive and focused on achieving Sprint goals.

Remove Impediments : Actively identify and address obstacles that hinder team progress, facilitating conflict resolution and maintaining smooth workflows.

Promote Collaboration : Foster a culture of transparency and open communication within the team and with stakeholders.

Facilitate Decision-Making : Guide the team in making informed decisions, empowering them to take ownership of their deliverables.

Track Progress : Monitor and communicate progress towards Sprint goals, utilizing relevant metrics and reporting to stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement : Assess and enhance Agile practices within the team, mentoring members on Scrum principles and methodologies.

Support Product Owner : Collaborate with the Product Owner to prioritize the Product Backlog and ensure alignment on project goals.

Support Project Management : Work closely with the Delivery Manager/Project Manager to address cross-team dependencies and project risks.

Required Skills & Experience :

Experience : Minimum of 6 years total, with at least 4 years specifically as a Scrum Master.

Background : Candidates must have prior experience in Product Development or Quality Assurance before transitioning to a Scrum Master role.

Education : BE, MTech, MCA, or MBA from a recognized institution.

Certifications : CSM certification is mandatory; PMP certification is a plus.

Agile Expertise : Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly in leading transitions from Waterfall to Agile.

SDLC Knowledge : Ability to explain the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) in the context of delivery management.
