We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Electronics & Telecommunications Engineer to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the production, testing, and quality assurance of electronics and telecom equipment. You will ensure that production processes are efficient, products meet quality standards, and the team adheres to the manufacturing schedules. Your expertise in electronics and telecom systems will be essential for the continuous improvement of our production line.
Key Responsibilities :
Production Process Management :
Supervise and manage the daily operations of the production floor to ensure that electronic and telecom products are manufactured according to specifications and schedules.
Oversee the assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of telecom and electronic systems and components.
Ensure that production timelines are met and production targets are achieved.
Quality Control & Assurance :
Monitor product quality through various testing methods, including electrical testing, functional testing, and performance analysis.
Identify any quality issues or defects in the manufacturing process and initiate corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards (e.g., ISO, RoHS, CE).
Technical Support & Troubleshooting :
Provide technical assistance to production teams, helping troubleshoot and resolve issues with equipment, machinery, and production processes.
Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of machinery used in the production process.
Process Optimization :
Analyze production processes to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies and suggest improvements.
Implement process improvements to enhance production capacity, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
Product Development & Testing :
Collaborate with design and R&D teams to support the introduction of new products and prototypes into the production line.
Conduct performance testing of new electronics/telecom systems and provide feedback for design improvements.
Documentation & Reporting :
Maintain detailed documentation of production processes, quality control tests, and equipment maintenance schedules.
Prepare daily, weekly, or monthly production reports, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs), such as output, defect rates, and downtime.
Team Coordination & Training :
Train and guide junior engineers and production staff on the correct use of equipment, tools, and safety protocols.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams (design, procurement, quality assurance, etc.) to ensure smooth production operations.
Skills & Qualifications :
Educational Requirements :
Bachelors degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related field (BE/B.Tech in Electronics/Telecommunication Engineering).
Experience :
1-3 years of experience in production, manufacturing, or quality control in an electronics or telecom environment.
Experience in handling production lines, assembly, and troubleshooting of electronic/telecom products.
Technical Skills :
Strong understanding of electronics principles and telecommunications systems.
Proficiency in using test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators) and troubleshooting tools.
Familiarity with manufacturing software and ERP systems.
Problem-Solving :
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to quickly identify issues in production processes and implement corrective actions.
Communication & Teamwork :
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with various departments, including R&D, design, and quality control.
Certifications (Optional but Preferred):
Certification in manufacturing process management or production engineering.
Knowledge of quality control standards (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing) is a plus.
