Metallurgical Engineer

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Metallurgical Engineer to join our team. The Metallurgical Engineer will play a key role in the analysis and improvement of metallurgical processes, ensuring the quality and performance of materials used in our operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metallurgical engineering, materials science, and process optimization.
Responsibilities:
Materials Analysis: Conduct analyses on various materials to determine their composition, properties, and performance characteristics.
Utilize testing methods such as microscopy, spectroscopy, and mechanical testing.
Process Optimization: Optimize metallurgical processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to implement process improvements.
Quality Control: Implement and manage quality control measures to ensure materials meet specified standards.
Develop and maintain quality assurance procedures for metallurgical processes.
Research and Development: Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in metallurgical engineering.
Contribute to research and development projects aimed at improving materials and processes.
Failure Analysis: Investigate and analyze material failures or defects, providing recommendations for improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and rectify any metallurgical issues.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of metallurgical tests, analyses, and results.Prepare technical reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
Stay informed about changes in regulations affecting metallurgical processes.
