SALES AND APPLICATION ENGINEER

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Being part of a sales team in achieving business targets through value selling & customer support.
• Understand features and benefits of 3M products and contrast features of 3M products with those of our competitors to explain 3M products effectively.
• Conduct product trials & reports to increase sale of premium and top products
• Handling sales of a particular geographical area for Caravan Oil Suppliers
• Observe the customer application area and select the product from 3M portfolio.
• Promoting new product to existing customers and expansion in customer base

Customer Support
Provide support to customers in the following ways:

• Recommend the appropriate 3M products and services for customers specific application.
• Identify and recommend 3M products and services to replace competitor products.
• Perform troubleshooting and problem-solving tasks related to abrasives
• Organise joint visits with technical support staff in cross-selling and up-selling activities.
• Regular follow up for continuous business and payment.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Preferably a bachelors degree or a diploma course in Mechanical or related engineering fields.
• Graduate in any other field with relevant experience can also be considered.
• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and handle high pressure situations
• Strong presentation and confident communication skills
• Interest in technical/value selling rather than transactional selling process
• Skilled at software applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
