Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our finance team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial analysis, accounting, and general finance operations. As an intern, you will support the finance department with various tasks, contribute to financial reporting, and assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with financial analysis, reporting, and budget preparation.
• Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
• Help in preparing financial statements and supporting documentation for audits.
• Assist with reconciliation of accounts and identification of discrepancies.
• Provide assistance in the preparation of financial models and forecasts.
• Participate in the preparation of management reports, including variance analysis.
• Assist with data entry and maintain financial records in financial software or spreadsheets.
• Support team members in managing daily finance operations and reporting.
• Help track and analyze expenses and provide recommendations for cost savings.
• Participate in ad-hoc finance and accounting projects as needed.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with a basic understanding of other MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to communicate effectively and work well in a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Basic understanding of financial principles and accounting practices.
• Prior internship experience in finance or accounting (preferred but not required).
• Proactive and eager to learn with a passion for finance.
