Job Description
- Proficiency in mainframe programming languages (e.g., COBOL, Assembler, REXX), JCL, and related tools. Experience with mainframe operating systems (e.g., z/OS).
- Strong experience with mainframe database management systems (e.g., DB2, IMS, VSAM).
- Excellentproblem-solving skills. Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and develop effective solutions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- 10 years of experience working with mainframe systems and applications in a similar role.
- Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Primary Skill
- Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
- Knowledge of scripting languages or tools for automation (e.g., CLIST, REXX).
- Experience with integrating mainframe systems with cloud-based services and technologies.
- Relevant certifications in mainframe technologies or related areas are a plus (e.g., IBM Certified System Administrator).
