Profile : Desktop Support Engineer
Job Description :
- Handling all IT products like, Server, Lease line, Network, Firewall, PRI, etc.
- Providing support and maintenance through the ticketing tool
- IT Asset handling in entire and tracking with record for maintenance for Asset software
- Knowledge of SonicWall Firewall
- Configuring & troubleshooting Firewall, Router & switches, VPN through L2TP, PPTP, DHCP, NAT Policy, Bandwidth Management, Port management, Access rules, DNS
- Antivirus Monitoring and implementing Policy.
- Configuring, Maintaining and Troubleshooting Network Printers
- Responsible for maintaining the company strategy like designing, implementing and maintenance of Sever and software.
- Software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting for end users.
- Configuring and troubleshooting of Desktop/Laptops for L1, L2 and L3 levels and Managing backup and recovery.
- Configuring and troubleshooting of printer, scanner and LAN related issues reported by users.
- Ability to work and resolve hardware problems Desktop Support Engineer experience
- Able to install applications, troubleshoot the issues, taking backups of the data and upgrades to the system.
- Exposure in Windows server / Linux and Asterisk server
- Responsible for install, set up, maintain network and also configure the peripherals, cabling and equipment accordingly as per the requirement.
- Timely analyze whether any repairs or replacements is needed.
Job specifications :
- Proven work experience as a Desktop Support Engineer,
- Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments
- Working knowledge of office automation products and computer peripherals, like printers and scanners
- Knowledge of network security practices and anti-virus programs
- Addressing user tickets for issues regarding hardware, software, and networking
- Maintaining a log of job tickets and maintenance tasks.
- Ready to work in rotational shifts
- Willing to work at night shift
