Fashion Designer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Fashion Designer to lead and execute creative design concepts for our fashion collections. The role involves overseeing the entire design process, from conceptualization to final product, ensuring designs are aligned with market trends and brand identity. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development and production, to bring designs to life while maintaining high standards of quality and innovation. Additionally, you will, manage design timelines, and contribute to the strategic direction of the brand, all while ensuring that collections are commercially viable and meet consumer demands.

Job Responsibilities:

As a Fashion Designer, you will lead the design and development of our luxury bridal collections/ Ethnic collections. Your creativity, technical skills, and leadership will be pivotal in crafting distinctive, high-end designs that define our brand.

• Lead the Bridal Collection/ Ethnic Design Process
  Spearhead the design process for bridal collections, from conceptualization to the final product, ensuring that all designs align with the brand's vision of blending tradition with modern elegance.
• Create Innovative Bridal/ Ethnic Designs
  Develop original bridal/ethnic pieces that seamlessly merge modern fashion trends with timeless bridal elegance, creating memorable and luxurious designs for the contemporary bride.
• Collaborate with the Production Team
  Work closely with the production team to ensure that all garments meet the highest standards of quality, with a focus on fabric selection, garment construction, and final finishing.
• Design Documentation
  Prepare detailed design sketches, CADs, and mood boards that visually communicate your ideas and designs for approval, ensuring accuracy and alignment with client requirements.
• Fabric Sourcing & Vendor Management
  Build relationships with fabric suppliers and vendors to source premium materials for bridal garments, ensuring that only the finest textiles are used for each creation.
• Fitting Oversight & Customization
  Oversee the fitting process, ensuring that each garment is tailored perfectly to fit the brides specifications and vision, and offer expert guidance on any necessary adjustments.
• Mentorship & Team Leadership
  Provide mentorship to junior designers, fostering an environment of growth and collaboration. Guide the team in design development, ensuring the creation of exceptional bridal collections.
• Stay Current with Bridal and Ethnic Trends
  Remain up-to-date on bridal and ethnic fashion trends, customer preferences, and emerging market demands, bringing fresh and innovative ideas to the design process.
• Client Interaction & Consultation
  Meet with brides and clients to discuss customization options, fabric choices, and design adjustments, ensuring their vision is fully realized while maintaining the integrity of the brand.

Key Requirements:

• Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in bridal wear design/ ethnic wear, with at least 3 years in a design role. Experience with luxury bridal brands, especially with Osaa by Adarsh, is a significant advantage.
• Skills: Expertise in bridal fashion and ethnic trends, fabric manipulation, and garment construction. Proficient in design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CAD) for creating detailed designs and technical documentation.
• Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing luxury bridal or ethnic collections, with attention to intricate detailing, high-quality finishes, and a variety of bridal styles.
• Customer Focus: Ability to connect with brides and understand their preferences to deliver custom, elegant, and high-quality designs that exceed expectations.
• Creativity: Exceptional creativity and conceptualization skills, with the ability to design unique, bespoke bridal garments that align with the brands identity.
• Attention to Detail: A keen eye for precision in garment fit, craftsmanship, and final detailing, ensuring flawless execution in every design.
• Teamwork: Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to inspire, mentor, and lead a team of junior designers in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelors degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, or a related field.
• Professional Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in bridal wear design, including leadership roles.
• Portfolio: Strong portfolio demonstrating your bridal design expertise and creative vision.
