Maths Teacher

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Math Teacher to join our esteemed institution and inspire students to excel in mathematics. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mathematical concepts and the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to students. This position requires a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment that encourages academic achievement and critical thinking.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and comprehensive math lessons in accordance with the curriculum guidelines.
• Teach a variety of mathematical topics, such as Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, and Statistics, as per the grade level.
• Utilize diverse teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
• Develop and administer assessments (quizzes, tests, assignments, and projects) to evaluate student progress.
• Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students to help them improve their mathematical skills and understanding.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school administration to support student learning and development.
• Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect and encourages participation.
• Stay updated on developments in mathematics education and incorporate innovative teaching techniques.
• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development sessions, and school events as required.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelors or Masters degree in Mathematics or a related field (Education degree preferred).
• Teaching certification/license as per local education regulations.
• Proven experience teaching mathematics at the high school level is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mathematical concepts and pedagogy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve academic success.
• Proficiency in using technology and educational software to enhance learning.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with advanced mathematics, including preparation for competitive exams.
• Familiarity with interdisciplinary teaching methods or STEM integration.
• Strong classroom management skills.
