Political Science - PGT

The PGT Political Science Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging and well-structured lessons to Classes 11 & 12 in alignment with the CBSE curriculum. The teacher must develop comprehensive lesson plans, assignments, and assessments that promote critical thinking and analytical skills. A key responsibility is to create a stimulating learning environment where students actively engage in discussions on political theories, governance, democracy, international relations, and current affairs. The teacher should integrate modern teaching methodologies, including the use of digital tools, smart boards, and multimedia resources, to enhance student learning. Additionally, the role involves guiding students in debates, research projects, group discussions, and model parliament activities, helping them develop public speaking, reasoning, and decision-making skills. The teacher must assess student performance through regular tests, assignments, and examinations, providing constructive feedback for improvement. Encouraging students to participate in extracurricular activities such as quizzes, essay competitions, and inter-school events related to Political Science is also a key expectation.
