Network Architect

Role: Associate Architect* / Architect** (Networking)

Experience: 10*/12** Years

Education: B.E/ B. Tech / M.E / M. Tech/ MS/ MCS/ Equivalent

Responsibilities:

• Lead discussions on technical requirements, estimations and proposals
• Resolve technical blockers/gaps for the engineering team to ensure timely deliverables.
• Develop strategic relationships with our customers to become a trusted adviser for various offerings and solutions.
• Provide presales technical support to Sales and Engineering teams.
• Support evaluations of our offerings and technical proofs of concepts
• Respond to customer and partner inquiries, including requests for proposal (RFPs) and requests for information (RFIs)
• Participate in technical discussions with Customer and 3rd parties to define E2E solution required by customers.
• Guide and review technical offer deliverables: SoW, etc.
• Drive and document overall deal solution strategy (product and services), interface with Engineering & Services to drive optimal scoping & cost structure to ensure competitiveness and future up-sells.
• Lead PoC/Trial proposals, including definition of trial scope, architecture, use cases and drive necessary management approvals.
• Design simplified solution for complex problems in Networking, Cloud and Telecom domain giving consideration for performance, scale and resilience.
• Documentation of product architecture, requirements, and concepts in clear, concise and consistent specifications.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with others to provide the best solutions.
• Adapt to new technologies in dynamic environment.

Mandatory Skills:

• Minimum 10+* /12+**years of experience working in the IT infrastructure industry.
• Experience in networking or/and virtualization
• Experience in SDN / SDWAN solution development.
• Experience in designing of highly available systems with redundancy.
• Experience in modern SW architectures with focus on modularity and reusability- like micro-services and container technologies.
• Familiarity with enterprise solutions and architectures, including cloud, virtualization, storage and cluster.
• Good knowledge of Network Management Systems.
• Experience in working with at least one of the major Public Cloud infrastructures (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Knowledge of Network Automation, Intent-based Networking, Orchestration Tools.
• Expert-level experience in Routing protocols (e.g. OSPF, BGP) & Switching technologies etc.)
• Expert level experience in Cisco/Aruba/Arista Data Center and Campus Switching and routing.
• Hands on programming experience on one or more programming languages like java/python/GoLang/C/C++.
• Should have in-depth knowledge of REST API based design and programming.
• Should have expert level knowledge to mentor and driver team in the development of multi-threaded enterprise application.
• Should have expert level knowledge to mentor and driver team in the development of networking application / features involving socket programming and IPC.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
