Job Summary

We are seeking an Information Security Tester who is knowledgeable about the latest tools in information security testing and has experience in testing eCommerce web applications. Additionally, development experience in Java, AEM, and Hybris is preferred. This is a full-time and Remote position.

Job Description

What You’ll Do

• Design and implement security testing strategies for software applications.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration tests.
• Identify, report, and document security risks and vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with development teams to remediate identified security issues.
• Develop and update security testing documentation and best practices.
• Stay current with the latest security threats and industry trends.
• Participate in code reviews and security audits.

 

What You'll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in software testing with a focus on security.
• Strong understanding of common security vulnerabilities and controls.
• Experience with security testing tools such as OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite, or similar.
• Proven track record of conducting successful security assessments.

 

Preferred

• At least 3-5 years of proven experience in QA information security testing roles.
• Experience in testing eCommerce web applications using the latest tools in information security testing.
• Development experience in Java, AEM, and Hybris.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.

 

Physical Demands

• This role involves mostly sedentary work, with occasional movement around the office to attend meetings, etc.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks on a computer, using a mouse, keyboard, and monitor.
