Design Engineer/Product Development Engineer

Job Description.

System Design: Design and develop mechatronic systems by integrating mechanical and electronic components to meet specific project requirements.

Basic understanding of selection of appropriate motors, sensors, actuators, controllers, and other components necessary for system functionality, considering factors such as cost, performance, reliability, and safety.

Knowledge of system Integration of mechanical components, electrical circuits, sensors, and software to create a complete mechatronic system.

Knowledge of design and development of control algorithms and software for real-time control of mechatronic systems, like intel atoms, raspberry PI, etc including closed-loop feedback control, motion control, and system monitoring is an added advantage.

Develop and integrate sensor systems, such as cameras, lidar, radar, or depth sensors, to enable object recognition and mapping.

Involvement in building prototypes, conduct experiments and data analysis to optimize system design and address any issues or limitations.

Stay updated with the latest advancements in mechatronics technology, research new methods, tools, and techniques, and propose innovative solutions to enhance system performance and efficiency.

To interact and coordinate with mechanical system / component design and developers.

Requirements.

Diploma / Degree in Mechatronics / Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

2-4 years of experience in design and development of mechanical and electronic components.

Hands on experience on CAD softwares like Creo.

Good understanding Mechanical and Electronic components / systems.

Solid understanding of electro-mechanical product development concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
