Junior Design Engineer

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, creativity, high level of communication skills and an eye for detail. You will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and improving products and systems to meet customer needs and company objectives. This role requires a solid understanding of engineering principles, proficiency with design software, and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.

Job Description

• Design, develop, and iterate product concepts and components from concept to production.
• Utilize CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA) to create detailed designs, drawings, and models.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, procurement, and quality assurance to ensure designs meet technical specifications and manufacturability.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company quality requirements.
• Participate in design reviews and provide technical recommendations to improve the design process.
• Document all design processes, modifications, and technical specifications accurately.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure timely delivery of designs.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices to continually improve design processes.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of CAD tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or CATIA.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes

Excellent problem-solving skills with a creative approach to design challenges.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work under deadlines.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Familiarity with industry standards and safety regulations.
