Technical Lead - C#/Javascript (7-10 yrs)

Overview :

We are looking for a Tech Lead to oversee an increasing volume of web development projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in software development, experience managing a team of developers, and a passion for innovation and creative problem solving. The Tech Lead will be responsible for ensuring the success of web development projects from start to finish, mentoring the development team along the way, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions. Your role will involve hands-on coding, code reviews, and working with the design team to ensure feasibility.

Your role will occasionally be client-facing, and you must be able to translate technical language into lay terms. You will work closely with Graphic Designers, Scientific Directors, Medical Writers, Digital Team, and Accounts Team to conceive and execute concepts for web-based client projects within the medical affairs ecosystem. You must be able to innovate and offer creative solutions to meet the evolving needs of HCPs, patients, and payers.

Job Responsibilities :

- Oversee projects from inception to completion (project planning, IA, UI/UX design, development, QA testing), ensuring that client needs and technical requirements are synchronized.

- Lead and manage a team of developers.

- Create solutions with cross-platform optimization in mind.

- Front-end architecture and back-end application development.

- Conduct code reviews and resolve technical issues.

- Ensure technical direction aligns with company vision and client needs.

- Develop APIs.

- Work in a fast-paced environment to deliver projects on time and on budget.

- Understand client requirements and translate them into solutions that meet the needs of the end users.

- Collaborate with development team, digital team, medical team, and other internal

stakeholders.

- Continuously assess and improve internal processes and workflows for development.

- Remain up-to-date on market trends and new technologies to continue providing innovative

solutions.

Qualifications and Prerequisites :

- 7+ years' experience as a software developer and at least 2 years as a Tech Lead.

- Proficiency in front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery).

- Proficiency in back-end languages (e.g. C#, Java, Python, Ruby).

- Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Node.js).

- Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g. Apache).

- Understanding of UI/UX design.

- Experience developing web-based assets for Veeva.

- Knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines.

- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and deliver within tight timelines.

- Ability to work remotely with a global team across various time zones.

- Comfortable and experienced in leading client calls, making suggestions and providing

guidance on best practices, and explaining complex technical concepts in common terms.
