Android Developer

Role & responsibilities

• Design & Development:
  
• Build and maintain Android applications using Java and Kotlin.
• Develop robust, scalable, and maintainable codebases.
• Testing & Debugging:
  
• Write and execute UI tests using Espresso to ensure high-quality applications.
• Identify and resolve application issues, crashes, and bottlenecks.
• Collaboration & Coordination:
  
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and backend developers, to deliver innovative features.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and best practices.
• Optimization:
  
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and battery efficiency.
• Stay updated with the latest Android trends and technologies to implement new features.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Technical Expertise:
  
• Proficient in Java and Kotlin.
• Experience with Android frameworks, components, and design patterns (e.g., MVVM, MVP).
• Strong knowledge of Espresso for UI testing and other testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit).
• Development Tools:
  
• Hands-on experience with Android Studio, Gradle, and Git.
• Familiarity with debugging tools and performance optimization tools.
• UI/UX:
  
• Knowledge of Material Design principles and guidelines.
• Experience with custom UI development and animations.
• API Integration:
  
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and JSON.
• Knowledge of third-party libraries and APIs (e.g., Retrofit, OkHttp).
