- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Teams, including setup, administration, policies, and configuration.
- Experience with Teams integrations (e.g., SharePoint, OneDrive, Power Automate).
- Familiarity with Slack s features, architecture, and administration, including channels, workspaces, apps, and integrations.
- Experience using migration tools like Bittitan MigrationWiz , CloudFuze , or other Slack-to-Teams migration solutions.
- Knowledge of manual and automated migration techniques, including exporting and importing data.
- Proficiency in handling data migration, including user data, messages, files, and app configurations.
- Strong understanding of data mapping, transformation, and validation processes.
- Scripting and Automation such as skills in PowerShell scripting for Microsoft Teams and Office 365.
- Ability to develop or customize migration scripts for specific business needs.
- Must have integration experience - Understanding of Slack and Teams app ecosystems and how to migrate or replace apps/integrations.
- Ability to evaluate alternative integrations in Microsoft Teams for features unavailable in Slack.
Preferred ExperienceO365 Administration-
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tenant management, licensing, and user provisioning.
Compliance and Security-
- Understanding of compliance and security requirements for data migration, especially for regulated industries.
Cross-Platform Migration Experience-
- Demonstrated success in migrating other communication or collaboration platforms.
Soft Skills- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues arising during the migration process.
- Analytical mindset to identify potential gaps and risks.
- Flexibility to handle unexpected challenges and adapt plans as necessary.
- Knowledge of change management practices to help users transition smoothly from Slack to Teams.
- Precision in ensuring data is migrated correctly and nothing is lost in the process.
- Experience creating training materials or conducting training sessions for end-users transitioning to Microsoft Teams.
- Ability to document migration steps, troubleshooting
