- This role aims to identify new business opportunities, manage existing client relationships, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely product launches and supply coordination.
- The incumbent will also develop strategic plans for market expansion, support regulatory strategies, and lead negotiations to achieve competitive positioning in the market.
Key Responsibilities:.
- Promotion & license-out of Intas dossiers to pharmaceutical companies.
- Explore new business possibilities using all INTAS assets in the region.
- Define the strategy of Business Development in new countries in the region.
- Monitor sales against budget with monthly business review meetings.
- Follow-up of supplies to the existing clients in coordination with the Supply Chain team.
- Negotiate License & Supply Agreements.
- Coordinate product launch activities between clients and the different departments within the company.
- Elaborate on the yearly budget for new license deals and finished product supplies.
- Participate in Product Development meetings.
- Negotiate and update on pricing when required.
- Detect early launch opportunities.
- Elaborate business cases to validate project feasibility such as filling at-risk activities or M&A opportunities.
- Travel to countries with ongoing business to hold regular meetings with partners and new potential customers.
- Attend to industry events in the region.
- Search for market information and competitors' status.
- Participate in monthly business review meetings.
Relevant Skills, Experience & Qualification:.
- Able to work as part of a cross-functional and cross-cultural team.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate different departments by understanding their concerns and timelines.
- Customer-oriented.
- Speed and autonomy in decision-making.
Essential:
- Understanding of Regulatory strategies.
- Understanding of the IP background.
- Understanding of export business and timelines related to them.
- Knowledge of the Pharmaceutical industry and synergies between companies.
- Understanding of market dynamics in each country of responsibility.
- Exposure to the Asian sub-continent & Middle East region.
Qualification:
- Must have 8 to 12 years of experience in business development positions in the generic pharma business (preferably with emphasis on Out-Licensing).
- Preferably experience in Asia region.
