Business Development Manager

Role & responsibilities:

• Develop and execute business development strategies to drive sales growth.
• Identify and acquire new customers while maintaining strong relationships with

existing clients.

• Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to develop

competitive strategies.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, marketing, and supply chain to

ensure seamless service delivery.

• Achieve sales targets and revenue growth by implementing effective sales and

marketing plans.

• Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations for clients.
• Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports and forecasts to senior

management.

• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
• Participate in industry trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events to expand

business opportunities.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelors/Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business

Administration, or a related field.

• Minimum of 3-10 years of experience in business development or sales within the

specialty chemicals industry.( Distribution Network).

• Experience in dealing with specialty chemicals in pigments & coatings, Inks, Packaging,

Additives, Construction Chemicals, Polymer processing.

• Strong technical knowledge of specialty chemicals and their industrial applications.

• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

• Ability to travel extensively within the assigned region.

• Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and Salesforce software will be added advantage
