As Release Project Manager, you will own the end-to-end release process, ensuring timely, predictable product releases across the organization. You will work closely with product, engineering, and Go-To-Market teams to manage and coordinate all aspects of the release lifecycle. This role requires a self-directed and motivated individual who can ensure smooth execution, manage dependencies, mitigate risks, and deliver releases that meet business and customer expectations.
Major Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate, and oversee the release lifecycle, including planning, scheduling, and managing release activities across all teams.
Work cross functionally to ensure release requirements are clearly defined and met.
Manage dependencies between projects and teams, ensuring smooth delivery of all release components.
Own the release calendar, coordinating release timelines and ensuring clear communication across Lightcast.
Conduct release readiness reviews, post-release retrospectives, and work to continuously improve the release process.
Ensure all documentation, compliance, and approval processes are followed for each release.
Abilities:
Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to collaborate across multiple teams and manage relationships with stakeholders at all levels
Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools (e. g. Jira, Slack, Productboard)
Exceptional communication skills in English
Education and Experience:
3+ years of experience managing software releases or technical project management
Experience with Agile methodologies and managing cross-functional teams
