Web Story Producer

Travel + Leisure India is searching for talented web story creators with two to three years of experience covering travel and food across the world. Reporting to the Senior Editor - Digital Growth the candidate will ideate and create high-quality web stories (available on Google Discover) daily for our readers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Independently coming up with web story ideas and angles for the different verticals (mainly travel, news and fooddining) keeping aspects like brand positioning and traffic generation in mind
• Creating daily, SEO-friendly online web stories that are relevant to our audience
• Reacting to news events and pushing out timely breaking news
• Following and analysing competitors on websites and social media

QUALIFICATIONS

• Excellent writing and communication skills in English
• Working knowledge of image editing software
• Keen interest, knowledge, and contacts in the world of travel; knowledge of the regional travel and wellness landscape is a plus
• Possess 2+ years experience in digital media in India
• Detail-oriented, resourceful and can work fast under daily deadlines
• Knowledge of the food scene in major cities in India and contacts to travel agencies
• Experience using CMS such as Wordpress
• Knowledge of analytics tools such as Chartbeat and Google Analytics
• Experience in working with digital KPIs (engagement, reach) and knowledge how to improve them
