Position Summary :
The SAP B1 Technical Consultant perform diversified IT support services under the team lead / manager' direction with minimum assistance. SAP B1 Technical Consultant can make decisions on routine jobs except for unusual issues and circumstances. When such a situation arises, outline them to the IT manager, Directors or Partners and then act on their advice.
Performance Appraisal : Three-six months probation review, and then a Half-yearly review based on the calendar year
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES :
Key result area :
Determining ERP needs, analyzing the performance of our IT infrastructure, developing and implementing ERP solutions
Major activities :
a) Collaborate with clients to gather business requirements and design SAP B1 solutions.
b) Develop and maintain technical design documents and specifications.
c) Configure and customize SAP B1 software to meet client requirements.
d) Integrate SAP B1 with other systems and applications.
e) Develop and execute test plans to ensure quality of SAP B1 solutions.
f) Provide technical support to clients during and after SAP B1 implementation.
g) Train end-users on SAP B1 software functionalities.
h) Continuously update and improve SAP B1 technical knowledge.
i) Coordinate and manage integration testing process with customer from engagement to deployment
j) Applies understanding of critical customer program goals/objectives to develop winning, best-value, and tailored technical solution that creates seamless solution integration
k) Supports multiple projects across different programs
l) Demonstrates strong technical leadership in managing and resolving technical solution scope and issues during system test cycles
m) Mentors and develops junior technical staff to ensure successful execution and growth of Digital Technology Services talent globally
n) Be up to date about the latest technologies & changes.
General :
a) Adhere to HR policies and procedures.
b) Necessary steps should be taken to protect the firm's interest.
c) Ensure minimum chargeability requirements.
d) Ensure a minimum PMS score of 3.9 consistently for further progression
Essential :
a) Experience in the implementation of projects and ideally experience in project management
b) Good knowledge of ERP modules.
c) Passion for technology trends Internet of Things, Mobility, Cloud, Analytics
Desirable : Knowledge of ERP development tools, and basic financial knowledge.
Essential :
a) Strong analytic skills
b) Strong ability to work independently and make wellthought out decisions
c) Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to work in a team
Desirable : Positive, Proactive demeanor
- Essential : Graduate / Post Graduate in IT or related field
- Desirable : Certificate in SAP B1
