Product Manager

BuchiGlas India Pvt. Ltd. distributes equipment and plants for the chemical and pharmaceutical industries in India market.

The ideal candidate will bring:
Deep technical expertise in particle engineering and Raman spectroscopy.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with diverse customer groups.
A proven ability to combine technical know-how with strategic vision, driving both product adoption and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
Technical sales strategy:
Develop and implement targeted strategies to promote PAT tools from BlazeMetrics (USA) and micronization and spray drying systems from Schedio AG (Switzerland).
Identify and prioritize key market segments and customer needs to drive sales growth.

Product demonstrations:
Conduct engaging and tailored product demonstrations to showcase the features, benefits, and applications of our technologies.
Adapt presentations to effectively address the needs of diverse audiences.

Customer advisory and quoting:
Advise customers on technical solutions tailored to their specific needs and requirements.
Prepare detailed and accurate quotations to support customer s decision-making process.

Project execution:
Execute projects after receipt of order in close collaboration with suppliers to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Customer relationship management:
Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers to ensure high a level of satisfaction and loyalty.

Technical support:
Provide hands-on technical assistance to customers during whole lifecycle of the equipment.

Marketing support:
Support the marketing efforts by providing content ideas, feedback on campaigns, and evaluations of results.

Market analysis:
Conduct thorough market research to identify industry trends, evolving customer needs, and competitive landscape.
Report findings and actionable insights to the management team to inform for strategic decisions.

Reporting:
Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses.
Identify areas for improvement and recommend actionable solutions to meet objectives.

Training and development:
Participate in domestic and international product training sessions to stay updated with the industry advancements and its trends to enhance customer interactions and supplier relations.

Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in particle engineering, chemical engineering, material science, or a related field.
- Proven expertise in particle engineering techniques and Raman spectroscopy applications.
- Familiarity with PAT Tools like FBRM, Easy Viewer, ReactIR, ReactRaman, SOPAT or related products.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to travel frequently within India.
- 3+ years of experience in technical sales, product management, or a related role within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry is desirable.
- Experience in technical support and customer engagement is desirable.
