Job Title: Placement Coordinator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Placement Coordinator to manage our placement activities, build relationships with employers, and ensure our students are successfully placed in their chosen careers. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong network of industry contacts, and a passion for education and career development.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement effective placement strategies to ensure students are placed in their chosen careers.

2. Build and maintain relationships with employers, industry partners, and alumni to secure job opportunities for students.

3. Coordinate placement activities, including job fairs, industry events, and campus recruitment drives.

4. Provide career guidance and counseling to students, including resume building, interview preparation, and job search strategies.

5. Manage and track student placement data, including job offers, acceptances, and salary information.

6. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including faculty members, career services team, and marketing team, to promote placement opportunities and services.

7. Develop and maintain placement-related content, including job descriptions, company profiles, and career resources.

8. Ensure compliance with placement-related policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, or a related field.

2. At least 0-2 years of experience in placement, recruitment, or career services.

3. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and networking skills.

4. Strong industry connections and knowledge of job market trends.

5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

6. Proficiency in MS Office, Google Suite, and CRM software.

7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have:

1. Experience working in an Edutech organization or education industry.

2. Knowledge of labor market information and job market analytics.

3. Certification in career counseling or placement .
