Job Description
Qualification Experience: CA (2+ years post qualification)
We are looking for a driven Investment Banking Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a qualified Chartered Accountant with a strong background in financial analysis, corporate finance, and deal execution.
Key Requirements:
- Qualifications: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience preferably in investment banking, FDD or assurance
- Technical Skills:
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate business performance and financial metrics
- Solid understanding of financial statements, corporate finance principles, and Indian taxation regulations
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Stakeholder Management: Ability to work independently and ability to deal with multiple internal and external stakeholders effectively
Roles Responsibilities:
- Transaction Execution: Actively participate in the full life cycle of deal execution, including due diligence, financial analysis, and preparation of transaction documents
- Stakeholder Interaction: Assist in managing client relationships and dealing with external stakeholders including fund houses, merchant bankers, financial institutions on a regular basis
- Preparation of Pitch-Books: Develop and design company-focused pitch-books and discussion documents for client meetings
- Financial Models: Prepare and maintain comprehensive company projections valuation models for various transactions
- Capital Markets Private Equity: Work on a variety of deals in capital markets, private equity, and debt syndication
