Job Description
- 15 + years of total drilling experience with either supermajors or midsized international independent E&P cos. The experience should be a mix of Senior DSV and Drilling Superintendent (3 years) or Tool pusher experience (5 years).
- 8 + years Drilling operations management experience as a Supervisor in offshore Operations.
- Have extensive industry training and valid well control certification.
- Have demonstrated ability to manage multiple drilling rigs at one time in a safe and cost-effective manner.
- Understand and demonstrate leadership in all aspects of managing a HSE compliant
- operation without compromising operational efficiency.
- Be familiar with cost reporting tools/reports and cost verification procedures.
- Have solid experience of drilling and hole cleaning of horizontal wells.
- Have deep understanding of rig equipment and systems in use.
- Have detailed experience of directional drilling techniques and equipment.
- Have detailed knowledge of drill bits, weighted and non-weighted mud systems, logging
- tools and techniques, P&A operations etc.
- Have basic knowledge of completions and workover operations.
- Possess basic understanding of applicable Government approvals and regulatory requirements.
- Must have a bachelor s degree in Engg. Degree in Petroleum Engg will be a plus.
- Basic PC skills (MS office suite, Outlook etc)
- Previous experience with COMPANY of supervising similar Operations is preferable.
