Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management:

Order and receive inventory, ensuring efficient loading and unloading of stock.

Monitor stock levels and maintain updated records to ensure well-stocked items.

Utilize computerized systems to track stock records and maintain a raw material inward record sheet in Excel.

Receiving and Verification:

Receive and check parts, tools, and materials against suppliers' packing lists and purchase orders.

Verify received materials against invoices or challans, tagging accepted materials for proper storage.

Communicate with the supervisor to facilitate checks on incoming materials.

Storage and Organization:

Ensure safe and proper storage of materials using racks, pallets, and carts.

Oversee inward raw material handling and maintain detailed records of identification numbers, quantities, and prices.

Maintaining a list of standard items and minimum stock levels.

Issuing Materials:

Issue supplies to authorized personnel based on production job cards.

Maintain daily records of raw material issues and stock levels, including a list of standard items and minimum stock levels.

Coordination:

Share billing and accepted material copies with the accounts department.

Follow up on material orders with the purchasing department to ensure timely deliveries.
