Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Test Engineer with expertise in both Automation and Manual Testing. This role requires a candidate with a deep understanding of Web, Security, Performance, and API testing, as well as proficiency in Selenium for automation testing. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Postman for API testing and a passion for delivering high-quality software. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and robustness of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute automated and manual test cases for web applications, APIs, and security/performance testing.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing on web applications.
• Lead and mentor junior team members to help them improve their testing skills and knowledge.
• Write and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver, integrating with continuous integration tools.
• Conduct API testing using Postman and integrate with automation tools where necessary.
• Identify and report defects, track their progress, and work with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
• Conduct performance testing to identify bottlenecks and ensure optimal performance under load.
• Ensure that test documentation is created and maintained, including test cases, test plans, and test reports.
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Analyze test results and provide actionable insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Stay up to date with new testing tools and methodologies to continually enhance the testing process.

Experience: 5-7 years in Automation and Manual Testing.

• Tools: Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for automation.
• API Testing: Proficient in using Postman for API testing (manual and automated).
• Performance Testing: Experience in performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Security Testing: Knowledge of security testing principles and tools (e.g., OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite).
• Web Testing: Extensive experience testing web applications, ensuring cross-browser and device compatibility.
• Test Automation: Expertise in scripting automated tests, maintaining test scripts, and integrating them with CI/CD pipelines.
• Manual Testing: Experience with end-to-end manual testing, including functional, regression, smoke, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Defect Tracking & Reporting: Experience with bug tracking tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla.
• Version Control: Knowledge of version control systems like Git or SVN.
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitLab CI.
• Familiarity with Cloud-based (AWS) testing platforms (e.g., Sauce Labs, BrowserStack).
• Exposure to agile methodologies and working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Familiarity with database testing and querying (SQL).
• Experience in testing mobile / Responsive applications (iOS/Android) is a plus.
