Role & responsibilities
1. Quality Management System Development:
Develop and implement a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS) for the ingot production process, aligning it with industry standards and best practices.
Establish quality control procedures, guidelines, and protocols for all stages of ingot manufacturing.
2. Quality Control and Inspection:
Lead and manage the quality control team responsible for conducting inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process products, and finished ingots.
Oversee the implementation of inspection processes, ensuring compliance with quality specifications and customer requirements.
Conduct regular audits and evaluations to assess the effectiveness of quality control measures and identify areas for improvement.
3. Product Quality Assurance:
Monitor and analyze product quality data, identifying trends, deviations, and areas for improvement.
Collaborate with production, engineering, and R&D teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Ensure that all ingot products meet the required quality standards before release to customers.
4. Compliance and Regulatory Affairs:
Stay updated on industry regulations, standards, and compliance requirements related to non-ferrous metal ingot production.
Ensure that the ingot production process complies with relevant environmental, health, and safety regulations.
5. Supplier Quality Management:
Collaborate with the procurement team to assess supplier quality and evaluate the performance of raw material suppliers.
Implement supplier quality management programs, ensuring that raw materials meet the required quality standards.
6. Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancement within the ingot production process.
Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational effectiveness.
Implement Lean, Six Sigma, or other quality improvement methodologies.
7. Customer Satisfaction and Complaint Handling:
Collaborate with the customer service team to address customer complaints related to product quality.
Develop and maintain a robust customer feedback mechanism to measure customer satisfaction and address customer concerns promptly.
8. Quality Training and Development:
Provide training and development opportunities for the quality control team and other relevant personnel.
Promote a culture of quality excellence throughout the organization.
Reporting and Analysis:
Prepare and present regular quality performance reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators, trends, and improvement opportunities.
